Federal Minimum Wage Increases

The Federal Minimum Wage is set to increase in three increments over the next three years.  An initial increase from $5.15/hour to $5.85/hour took place on July 24 of this year, with further increases scheduled as follows:

July 24, 2008:  $6.55/hour
July 24, 2009:  $7.25/hour

Currently, the state minimum wages in both Minnesota and Wisconsin are higher than the federal minimum wage ($6.15/hour in Minnesota; $6.50/hour in Wisconsin).

This special 1:00 presentation will follow La Leche League's regular monthly meeting and is open to all area moms who are interested in finding out more about how to start their own homebased business!
