"Recordkeeping for Small Businesses" includes lots of practical tips, activities, and hands-on exercises. You will learn how to keep track of who owes you money and who you owe money to and when it is due. This class will help you understand how to keep records on paper or on a computerized spreadsheet and will help you feel more confident in your business overall!

Tax Credits Available For Making Your Business
More Accessible to People With Disabilities


Two tax incentives are available to businesses to help cover the cost of making access improvements. The first is a tax credit that can be used for architectural adaptations, equipment acquisitions, and services such as sign language interpreters. The second is a tax deduction that can be used for architectural or transportation adaptations. For more information on either tax incentive, contact

Call for Nomination of Federal
Regulations in Need of Reform


The Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy is asking small businesses to help identify federal regulations that should be revised because they are ineffective, duplicative, or out of date.  Initial recommendation are due by Dec. 31.  Details of the initiative are on the Office of Advocacy website:  http://www.sba.gov/advo/r3/.
