The Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 4th annual Tour of Opportunities on Friday, May 5th. The event is an open house for entrepreneurs to work with business experts, mentors, and lenders that can help connect the dots between a great idea and a thriving business.
Our team will provide you with a step-by-step checklist to opening a successful business, along with resources to accomplish each step. Your checklist will include insight on writing a business plan, available commercial properties, applying for permits, employee retention, building renovations, marketing, loans, and more. Regional experts from The Entrepreneur Fund, The Small Business Development Center, DEED, IRRRB and more will be there and ready to help. Local agencies such as Growth Innovations, The City of Aitkin, and Aitkin County Economic Development will also be available.
The Tour of Opportunities will be Friday, May 5th from 12 pm-5 pm on the main floor of The Ripple Center (301 Minnesota Ave North). Come any time during Tour hours and meet with the experts that can help you start or grow your business.
