Duluth, Minnesota – March 5, 2019: The Entrepreneur Fund is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members. Sandi Larson joins the strategic services team as a Business Advisor in Duluth, and Maggie Becker came onboard as Development Coordinator.

As a Business Advisor, Sandi Larson will work directly with entrepreneurs in the Duluth and surrounding area to guide personal and professional development that drives business growth. Sandi brings with her over 12 years of economic development experience working with small businesses as a Business Development Professional with the UMD Center for Economic Development. Having grown up on the Iron Range, Sandi is passionate about small business and the vibrancy small businesses add to our communities. Sandi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Liberal Studies (MLS) with a Leadership and Community Engagement focus, both from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
As Development Coordinator, Maggie Becker is essential to ensuring an effective and efficient development effort. Having spent over 14 years working for non-profit organizations, Maggie brings expertise in event organization, office management and program coordination to the Entrepreneur Fund’s development team. Maggie is a Duluth native and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Morris and a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin with a Concentration in Community and Administrative Leadership and a Portfolio in Non-Profit and Philanthropic Studies.
