Duluth, Minnesota – The Entrepreneur Fund is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Nikstad as a staff accountant, officing out of the main office in Duluth. Mike joined the financing team in April 2019, where his expertise in accounting helps the Entrepreneur Fund process loans for regional business owners as quickly and efficiently as possible.
“Mike has a long history of accounting accomplishments at many successful regional companies. As a staff accountant, Mike is responsible for much of the behind-the-scenes work that comes with loan processing. His work includes loan disbursements and receipts and all loan transaction processing. Each month, Mike prepares comprehensive reporting on the Entrepreneur Fund’s financing activities. He also prepares data for client updates and annual reviews. Before joining the Entrepreneur Fund, Mike held a variety of accounting positions at Spherion Staffing, Mars Supply, Ensicon and Heritage Window and Door. Mike holds an associate degree in accounting from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.
