Q: When can I begin my PPP loan forgiveness application?
A: You can apply to get your PPP loan forgiven once 8 weeks has passed since the date of closing and once all PPP funds have been spent.
Q: How do I begin my PPP forgiveness application?
A: All borrowers who received a PPP loan more than 8 weeks ago should have received an email notification from firstname.lastname@example.org to begin filling out their application through Spark. If you do not see the email or are having issues logging in, contact email@example.com for assistance.
Q: When filling out my forgiveness application, what documentation will I need to provide?
A: For PPP loans under $150,000, borrowers do NOT need to upload any documentation to Spark upfront. Supporting documents should still be kept on hand by the borrower, but do not need to be uploaded to the forgiveness application.
Q: When filling out my forgiveness application, what dates do I use for my covered period?
A: Your covered period is the 8–24-week period immediately following the date of closing in which the borrower spends all PPP funds. The first date of the covered period should be the date of closing, and the second date should be at least 8 weeks after that, but no more than 24.
